These shorts have been great, surprisingly stretchy (sure in the waist, but also the material of the shorts itself) and they hold great at my waist with the belt!

I was looking for comfortable shorts to wear on hikes that looked a little nicer than regular running shorts, and would be versatile. These are perfect! I love that they come with a belt, which makes them very adjustable. If you loosen the belt all the way, the waistband is very stretchy, but you can make the belt as tight as you want, and even loosen/tighten it as you need throughout the day. The material is thick and very structured, but they do not hug my thighs tightly like biker shorts, which I appreciate. Love the pockets so I can easily fit my phone inside too. These are super cute, def recommend! Consider sizing down if you're in between; there is extra room in the crotch and the waistband is very forgiving. I got the navy and gray pair and love them.

I got my usual size Xs and definitely could have sized down. These shorts are amazing quality and I love the zipper pockets that hold my phone, and the material of the shorts! They are bigger in the waist and crotch area though. Even when the belt is as tight as it can go, they’re still not tight enough. I still love them as high waisted shorts so they’re not as baggy. They even fit my friend who is pregnant.
